ОUR RESTAURANT

Mamma's - Italian Mom's - Pasta is a restaurant that is all about home-cooking. Our fresh pasta is made daily, the dough kneaded and stretched, then cut. We use only durum wheat for our pasta. When the pasta's cooked it is served with porcini and cream, with seafood, with ripe tomatoes, with Portobello mushrooms. You have to taste this!

OUR PASTA

Pasta comes in two kinds - pasta fresca [fresh pasta] and pasta secca [dried pasta]. Italian house-wives make fresh pasta and so do we at Mamma’s. We knead fresh dough at Mamma’s Pasta every morning. Parts of it are colored with spinach and beetroot juice – for green and red pasta. Then the dough is rolled out thinly with the help of a pasta machine and cut into spaghetti, fettuccine, pappardelle, penne, capelli. You order your pasta at Mamma’s and we just boil it quickly al dente (the best and only possible grade of doneness for pasta) and combine it with a sauce of your choice.

INTERIOR DESIGN

When one is in Mamma's Pasta one always feels at home and moreover… somewhere in Italy. A paradox but true. White-washed walls, solid wood furniture, comfortable chairs. So simple and so cosy. After all the aim of interior design is to make one forget the artistry of interior design around one. Just some simple homey touches here and there: a bronze clock, jars with colorful preserves, potted flowers, sentimental knick-knacks. Just like home where every such piece has a place and a story of one's own.

KIDS’ ROOM

Parents enjoy themselves at Mamma’s as their kids do – with Mamma’s nurse! Mamma’s Pasta is a family place, fun for all ages. And kids sure do love pasta and pizza. But kids eat quickly whereas grown-ups like to relax over the food. So what is to be done? Just lead your bored kids to our kid’s room! Here they can play with each other, move around and even make a fair amount of noise – that’s what kids’ room is for after all. This way grown-ups can savor Mamma’s dinner in peace without a care in the world. And every weekends from 12 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Spiridonyevsky and Novinsky locations and from 13 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Zemlyanoj Val location this room is equipped with a nurse.
